To get started with PetScreening's service and integration follow the 4-steps listed below:

While PetScreening is a no-cost service, Rent Manager charges a $50 monthly integration fee per customer. PetScreening considers this charge to be a pass-through fee, without any markup to our customers. We require a credit card authorization form and will charge $50 at the beginning of each month (prorated the first month, if applicable.)

  1. Navigate to the Admin tab of Rent Manager
  2. Locate Available Integrations
  3. Select PetScreening 
  4. Finally, select Request Activation

What is the FIDO Score?

Our patent-pending and proprietary FIDO Score™ system helps you understand the possible risk factors for each pet and pet owner. The FIDO Score is provided for all household pets and is determined based on the risk level the pet will bring to your property. During the pet screening process, several factors are collected from the Pet Owner and compiled into a detailed Pet Profile. These factors are what help determine the pets FIDO Score™.

How does PetScreening help generate revenue?

By using the data from the FIDO Score™, you could revolutionize your firm's pet policy by generating additional revenue. You can implement tiered pricing based on the FIDO Score™ each pet receives. The higher the score, the lower the pet fees for the pet owner.

How long does it take to review an Assistance Animal accommodation request?

A household pet profile and no pet / animal profile have an instantaneous turn around time. The review time for Assistance Animal accommodation requests is usually 2-3 business days. If the review time takes longer, this likely means our team is waiting for validation from the third-party verifier or more information is needed from the animal owner.
